It is with enormous sadness that Crown Agents has to report the death of our friend and colleague, John Brown. John died in Angola, where he was helping the government to implement an important customs modernisation project.

He had made a significant contribution to such projects all around the world, including Bulgaria where he was the Team Leader of our Programmes from 2002 to 2005 and again from 2007 to 2010.

He was enormously committed to his work, and will be greatly missed.  All of our thoughts are with his wife and two daughters at this sad time.
