| Crown Agents Presented its Equal Opportunities Policy at the “Career Day for People with Disabilities 2008” |

Crown Agents was among the employers which participated in the “Career Day for People with Disabilities 2008”, held on 8th of October in Sofia. It was organised at the initiative of the Bulgarian Association for Personal Alternative, a non government and non-profit organisation. The main objective of the event was increasing the opportunities for career development of unemployed people with disabilities. The Career Day was opened by the Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Mrs. Emilia Maslarova, and the Minister of State Administration, Mr. Nikolay Vasilev, and representatives of the Agency of Employment, Agency for the People with Disabilities, Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce. Crown Agents was represented by the Programme Manager, David Smith, who attended a special information seminar on legal and practical issues related to employing people with disabilities. At the Career Day each of the participating companies had the opportunity to meet with candidates for employment. Crown Agents’ representatives took this opportunity to present the company’s Equal Opportunities Policy and to provide an email contact for submission of CVs for the local HR database.
