| Crown Agents Trains Leaders of the Customs’ Mobile Teams |

11 recently appointed Leaders of the Mobile Assurance Teams /MATs/ of the National Customs Agency /NCA/ attended a one-week training course, which was designed and delivered by Crown Agents. The aim of the course was to provide the Team Leaders with the knowledge and skills required for managing a team comprising of officers from various enforcement agencies. The training, delivered by 2 Crown Agents’ Advisors, was a combination of presentations, discussion groups and syndicate exercises. One of these exercises included preparation of an annual operational plan for the activities of the MATs. The officers were also trained in a number of essential areas such as: Roles and Responsibilities of a MAT Team Leader, Role Models and Leadership styles, Honesty, Team Leader Skills and Qualities, The training will continue in November when it will be attended by a group of newly appointed MAT officers. |
